TCM in EFT
As soon as a client begins to describe the physical manifestation of their issue(s) or a recent diagnosis, my first thought is to reference the infinite wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the incredible connection between our organs and our emotions.
For example, our Liver (Gan): Stores blood, ensures smooth Qi flow, and manages anger. ‘Unexplained’ liver issues can often be linked to stored or unresolved anger that begins to stagnate and prevent healthy function.
Heart (Xin): Governs blood, houses the Shen (mind/spirit), and is associated with joy (or chronic sadness / depression).
Spleen (Pi): Transforms food into Qi/Blood, aids digestion, and is linked to worry. Cold feet are often seen as a messenger of spleen weakness, indicating a pattern of overthinking / worry/ anxiety.
Lungs (Fei): Governs respiration, manages the skin, and relates to grief/sadness. Almost everyone I see who has ‘sudden onset’ adult asthma or tight chest is suffering from grief and loss.
Kidneys (Shen): Stores Essence (Jing), governs growth, aging, and fear. In my experience, kidney issues, UTIs and urinary problems often stem to relationship issues/ fear of the partner though this is a more complex one that changes case by case.
If you are reading this and feeling like it connects to what you are going through, the good news is that with tapping, we are able to resolve a lot of these issues very effectively.
Finding the root issues of mysterious symptoms is my EFT specialty.
